Fans of The Vampire Diaries had been waiting for the day when Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and Caroline Forbes (Candice King) would finally share a kiss on the show. After six seasons of anticipation, it finally happened and viewers were ecstatic. However, it seems that the intimate scenes between Wesley and King may not have been as comfortable as fans might think.

According to Screenrant, the connection between Stefan and Caroline developed slowly. Caroline had always had feelings for Stefan, but he didn't feel the same way at first.

During the 2015 Comic Con, Wesley confessed that he enjoyed making King feel awkward on set. While King found the kissing scenes uncomfortable, she also found them laughable. She even mentioned how disturbing it was to have fake blood in her mouth while making out with someone else.

Although it wasn't easy for Wesley and King, they pulled off the intimate scenes with grace, adding depth to their characters' relationship. Fans of the show will always remember their onscreen romance as one of the highlights of The Vampire Diaries.
