Emily Wickersham, who played Eleanor Raye “Ellie” Bishop on NCIS for many years, recently gave birth.

The father is actor James Badge Dale, and this is the couple’s first child.

"Welcome to the world. Cassius Wickersham Dale born 12/30/21 just in time to join the party to ring in the New Year. You are more than [James Badge Dale] and I could ever have imagined," Wickersham wrote on Instagram. "We are so in love with you."

NCIS cast members congratulate the couple on the birth of their child.

Several friends and members of the NCIS cast have already left messages for Wickersham and her family on the Instagram photos she shared.

“Beautiful!!” wrote Brian Dietzen, who plays Dr. Jimmy Palmer on the show. “I’m so happy for you three. “

“He’s absolutely perfect,” wrote Diona Reasonover, who plays NCIS Forensic Scientist Kasie Hines.
