Two and a Half Men star Melanie Lynskey has expressed her willingness to work with former co-star Charlie Sheen again. Lynskey believes that Sheen has made progress in terms of his mental health and is now in a better place.
She stated that the last time she texted with Sheen, he seemed to be in an honestly good place, and she hopes the best for both Sheen and show creator Chuck Lorre. Lynskey also mentioned that she would consider reprising her role if there were ever a reboot of the series and would be open to doing a guest star appearance.
Two and a Half Men, which ran for 12 seasons, faced controversy towards the end when Sheen was fired following disparaging comments he made in an interview.
Ashton Kutcher was brought on to replace him for the final four seasons. Sheen later filed a $100 million lawsuit, but things seem to have smoothed over since then, as Sheen and Lorre are now working together on a new Max sitcom.
Apart from her role in Two and a Half Men, Lynskey is currently starring in Showtime's Yellowjackets and had a guest role on HBO's The Last of Us. However, she faced criticism and body-shaming when the episodes featuring her aired.
Lynskey responded to the criticism by clarifying that the photo in question was from her cover shoot for InStyle magazine, not from The Last of Us.
