The Law & Order crossover event between SVU and Organized Crime concluded with Olivia Benson being shot by a commissioned assassin, and Detective Jamie Whelan being shot and paralyzed by the villain behind the crime-for-hire website, Shadowërk. Whelan tragically passed away when his father mercifully unhooked him from the machine keeping him alive. Both SVU and Organized Crime will see changes in their precincts, and while the shows have been renewed for future seasons, they will need to answer the hard questions that emerged during the crossover event.
