Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni, stars of Law & Order, are allegedly being greedy while their co-stars complain about being underpaid. Sources claim that a "war of egos" has been brewing privately between Hargitay and Meloni as they constantly try to one-up each other in terms of salary and perks. Some supporting cast members, who make much less than the two stars, feel they are not getting paid what they deserve. In addition to the salary drama, sources say that Meloni is stressed out about the poor ratings of his show, Law & Order: Organized Crime, and has been begging Hargitay to make guest appearances to save the show. The stress is reportedly getting to him.
