Mariska Hargitay was seen on the set of Law & Order: SVU with a broken ankle, just three and a half weeks after sustaining her injury. Despite walking with crutches and wearing a surgical boot, the 57-year-old pushed through the pain to shoot scenes as Captain Olivia Benson. Hargitay's ankle injury occurred after tripping on rainy pavement while leaving a Cinema Society screening of Black Widow in July. She had previously suffered a broken right knee, hairline fracture in her left anklet, and torn ligament six weeks earlier. The upcoming season of Law & Order: SVU is set to premiere in September.
