Mayim Bialik is back with one of her former cast members, and fans couldn't believe the epic reunion they had online.
In a video posted on Instagram, Mayim revealed that fellow The Big Bang Theory co-star Melissa Rauch joined her for an episode of her Mayim Bialik's Breakdown podcast. As a way to announce the surprise reunion, the two nodded to Mayim's 1990s sitcomBlossom by dancing to the theme song in similar hats the titular character wore on the series. What's more, Mayim revealed that the episode featured her and Melissa walking down TV memory lane.
"Amy Farrah Fowler & Bernadette Rostenkowski reunite for a new episode of [Mayim Bialik's Breakdown] tomorrow!!!" read the caption uploaded on July 17. "Join us as Melissa Rauch opens up about her Blossom obsession and as she and Mayim reminisce about all their favorite Big Bang Theory behind-the-scenes moments. 💃💃."
Because it's a rarity to see Mayim and Melissa together, fans were shocked to see the two reunite in this special way. After hearing their news, many expressed how appreciative they were in the comments.
"As someone who obsessively rewatches [The Big Bang Theory] on loop... a sincere thank you," one person wrote on Instagram. "Omg I CANNOT WAIT!! This is going to be such a great episode," another exclaimed. "My [The Big Bang Theory] heart is overjoyed! Yes yes yes!!" a different follower declared.
While Melissa's episode marks the first time that she has appeared on Mayim's podcast, other Big Bang Theory actors have joined her to talk about their time working together in previous instances.
