The lady tries to get the dog to move by recording it with a camera, but the dog refuses to budge. The dog suggests that it might consider moving if offered tasty kibble and bacon treats. The lady then tries to pull the covers off the bed, but the dog insists that it needs the blanket to stay warm. The dog calls for the other human's help, accusing the lady of doggie domestic harassment.

Eventually, the dog decides to stay in the spot since it's a democracy, and the majority of the household (the dog and one human) are okay with it. The dog enjoys watching sports highlights from the cozy spot. The other human ends up watching TV in the living room and later comes back to claim the bed spot. The dog feels that it should be thanked for keeping the spot warm.
