Production has officially kicked off for a lineup of highly anticipated 2021 films, and the spotlight has been squarely on Jennifer Lawrence and her stunning new hairstyle she recently unveiled on the set of her upcoming movie, Don't Look Up. The 30-year-old actress was spotted on set sporting a face shield, sporting a bold strawberry red hair color and trendy microbangs that gracefully covered half of her forehead. Talk about a chic transformation!

In between filming scenes for the Netflix movie alongside Hollywood heavyweight Leonardo DiCaprio, Lawrence looked almost unrecognizable with her edgy fringe and vibrant hair hue.

Known for her versatile style transformations throughout her career, the star previously sported a similar red hair shade for her role as Mystique in the X-Men franchise, paired with striking blue skin.

Scheduled to hit screens sometime in 2021, Don't Look Up features a star-studded cast including Lawrence, DiCaprio, Timothee Chalamet, Ariana Grande, and more. The movie follows the journey of two astronomers as they race against time to warn humanity of an impending catastrophic meteorite heading towards Earth, set to annihilate the planet in just six months.

Though the film is still shrouded in mystery with no official release date announced yet, we can't help but anticipate the riveting storyline and stellar performances from the ensemble cast.

In the midst of Lawrence's busy filming schedule, she encountered a personal setback as her family farm in Kentucky was engulfed in flames, resulting in the destruction of the main barn which served as an office and summer camp owned and operated by her brother.
