Denise Richards has revealed how she convinced her former husband Charlie Sheen to take on the role of Charlie Harper in the hit TV show Two and a Half Men. Richards shared on the Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast that Sheen was initially hesitant about joining a new show after his previous one had been canceled. 

However, after reading the script, Richards urged Sheen to take the role. Sheen went on to star in the show for eight seasons and received multiple award nominations. Richards also noted that the success of the show may have contributed to Sheen's struggles with sobriety. Despite their divorce, Richards expressed support for Sheen throughout his difficulties.
