In a 2014 interview, she explained that the procedure helped her feel more confident and motivated her to take better care of herself by applying makeup and dressing nicely. Cuoco has also had a nose job and fillers, but says that maintaining her appearance is for her own confidence rather than anyone else's approval. She recently welcomed a daughter with actor Tom Pelphrey and shared photos on social media, calling the newborn "the new light of our lives."
