NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii will have an action-packed crossover event in September, with members of the Washington, D.C. team visiting Hawaii and vice versa. Vanessa Lachey, the franchise's first female lead, hinted at a surprise guest star for both shows' fall premieres. In NCIS: Hawaii's season opener, Gary Cole, Brian Dietzen, and Diona Reasonover will also guest star. NCIS is currently in its 20th season, with spin-offs in Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Hawaii. The shows return on Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
