There's a lot of drama going on in "General Hospital." Sonny, played by Maurice Benard, suspects that Evan Hofer's character, Dex, may be the traitor in his organization. And it's all thanks to Stephen A. Smith's character, who has planted some doubts in Sonny's mind.
Now, let me tell you, Dex has always been loyal to Sonny. Laura Wright's character even asked him to protect Sonny. But Brick, played by a cunning actor, is insinuating that Dex is only pretending to be on Sonny's side. Sonny is definitely not happy about this and may snap and kill Dex if he finds out what Dex is up to.
But here's the twist - the real traitor may actually be Steve Burton's character, who we all thought was dead. He could be brainwashed and working against Sonny. He's the only one who would have known about Sonny's private island and killed one of his guards. He's a real dangerous guy, and Sonny doesn't even know he's still alive.
Brick was right about one thing - the enemy is close to Sonny. But he's got it all wrong about Dex. So when Sonny starts sniffing around to find out who's responsible for the ambush in Puerto Rico, he may mistake Dex's shady behavior for betrayal. And he might end up killing him.ADVERTISEMENT
But that's not all. Eden McCoy's character, who is in love with Dex, isn't happy about his involvement with Sonny. She might even set him up herself. And let me tell you, Joss doesn't mess around. She didn't flinch when Chad Duell's character tried to take Sonny down.
On top of all this drama, it turns out that Dex was only supposed to be in a short-term role, but Evan Hofer has impressed the show's creators with his performance. We really hope they don't kill off his character. And we also hope that Dex's true paternity is revealed, with Jason turning out to be his father.
