In season 19 of NCIS, there have been some cast changes with the exit of Eleanor Bishop and Mark Harmon's character, Leroy Jethro Gibbs. However, showrunner Steven D. Binder has hinted that Harmon may return at some point. Meanwhile, Gary Cole has joined the team as Alden Parker, who came over from the FBI at Gibbs' suggestion. Sean Murray, who plays Timothy McGee, has praised Cole's performance and believes that the team dynamics are different in a positive way. NCIS has been picked up for a 20th year, much to everyone's relief, and Murray is excited to see where his character's story will go next.
