NCIS Los Angeles has finally returned for season 14 with fans of the franchise patiently waiting for it to start after NCIS and NCIS Hawaii's latest series premiered last month. Agents Callen (played by Chris O'Donnell), Sam Hanna (LL Cool J), Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and the rest of the gang are back to business, investigating head-scratching and dangerous cases to keep the residents of LA safe. One face who has yet to appear in this season on CBS is authority figure Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt).

NCIS Los Angeles fan-favourite Hetty Lange is not a force to be messed with, keeping the agents in line as well as providing a shoulder to lean on when needed.
She is played by Oscar-winning actress Linda Hunt who has been in the CBS drama from the very beginning.
Before Hunt joined the cast of NCIS LA, she was already a household name, known for starring in The Year of Living Dangerously, Silverado, Kindergarten Cop and She-Devil.
What fans might not know, however, is that Linda Hunt is not the actress' real name.
The couple actually tied the knot in 2008 and now reside in a bungalow in Hollywood with their dogs.
In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Kline joked that it was "Linda's corduroys" which first caught her attention.Hunt went on to tease her wife about her age, commenting: "Karen's six years younger, but I forgive her daily.
"I do, I forgive you for being younger."
