2 c.cherry-vanilla ice cream

Step 1 Cut the chocolate cake doughnuts in half crosswise. Step 2 Scoop about 1/2 cup softened cherry-vanilla ice cream onto each of the bottom halves. Step 3 Working quickly, spread the ice cream almost to the edge of the doughnut, then add the doughnut tops, pressing gently. Roll the sides in mini chocolate chips. Step 4 Freeze until firm, about 2 hours.
