Kaley Cuoco had an epic run on 'The Big Bang Theory', filled with memorable moments alongside her fellow castmates. Behind the scenes, things were different at times, as Cuoco went through some heartbreak. We'll take a look at some of her tougher times away from the camera, and what the future holds. Alongside Glamour Magazine, Kaley Cuoco revealed that the past year was a huge moment of growth in her life. Sure, she enjoyed success on the small screen, however, there were many lessons along the way that helped shape her into the person of today.
"I mean, this last year's been the most growth I've had in my entire life in my 36 years on this planet. And it's been life-changing for me. My life will never be the same. And I totally feel that. And I see things differently now. Change is good. I just mean, I think my outlook on the business [remains the same], and success will never change me."
"Emotionally and personally, I've had the most changes I could ever have in my life over this past year. And I'll never be the same and I'll never act the same moving forward."
Cuoco would admit that at times she's looking for shortcuts out of tough situations, however, she came to the realization that life doesn't work that way.
"My therapist is like, "You have to go through it. You have to climb the mountain and go through all the horrible." There's no shortcut. And I'm very good at finding shortcuts. [Laughs.] And I had to walk right through it and face things that I know are problems with myself. It's been a major mirror situation for me. I know there's no shortcut at all."
Her romantic life might be a bit of a roller coaster, however, when it comes to her relationship alongside her father, things truly could not be better.
'Big Bang Theory' was a major turning point for Kaley Cuoco. The sitcom pushed Kaley to the top of the sitcom world and in truth, the show could've continued had Jim Parsons really wanted to.
Behind the scenes, the cast got along extremely well, however, Cuoco shared another great bit of information involving her dad. According to Cuoco, Gary her father did not miss a single episode during the tapings! We're not talking a couple of episodes, we're talking 12 seasons worth, and 279 episodes.
Alongside James Corden, Cuoco got emotional sharing the story of her dad's dedication towards her career.
"He had a director's chair with his name on it," she said. "He never sat in it. He always stood. And every night for curtain and bows and for intros, he would be at the top and he would give me a thumbs up."
"The whole audience ended up doing it," she added. "It was like a weekly thing. It was just very special for all of us."
"My Dad still misses our live tapings at Big Bang. I couldn't do a show without him at that point, it had been years. I kept thinking, 'You can't miss one now you are part of the show.'"
Without a doubt, Cuoco's dad is one proud father.
Looking towards the future, Kaley might be taking some time off. The actress revealed that she's hardly had time to breathe since 'TBBT' got started. According to her words with Glamour, it might be time to focus elsewhere, such as her relationship life.
"If I was hoping for something in my future, definitely giving more time to a relationship. Taking time off. My horses are so important to me. And even that really went to the wayside over the past year. [They] keep me sane. And I want to have a relationship that I give my time to and that the person feels [like they're] really part of my life. I get so distracted with work, and I want to have that in the future."
Cuoco has more that earned the right to take some time away.
