Linda Hunt plays eccentric operations manager Hetty Lange in LA. Much like her character, Hunt prefers to keep her personal life out of the public eye. What we do know about the veteran actress though is she is happily married.

Hunt is in a relationship with 69-year-old retired therapist Karen Kline.

Neither of them tends to take part in any interviews and rarely discuss one another in public.

However, the couple did do one interview in 2014 with the Los Angeles Times about their home.

Hunt and Kline live together in a bungalow in Hollywood which the article described as a "jewel-box home".

But the couple has actually been in a relationship for much longer than this.

The NCIS LA actress and Kline have been living together in Los Angeles since 1987.

So while they actually made it official in 2008, the couple has been with one another for at least 33 years.

Hunt is 75-years-old and so her wife Kline is six years her junior.

Speaking to CBS Sunday Morning, Hunt said how she forgives "her daily...for being younger".

During the same interview, the couple briefly talked about their first impressions of each other.

While Hunt is 4ft 9in, it wasn't her height which Kline first noticed.

She joked: “I was kind of struck [by] Linda’s corduroys."
