Fans of Law and Order: SVU were disappointed when the show did not return for its ninth episode on November 18, following its eighth episode "Nightmares in Drill City." The reason for this is due to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, which often results in a change of scheduling. Unfortunately, the show will not be back next week either as Annie Live!, a musical extravaganza, will be airing instead. Viewers will have to wait a little longer for the next instalment featuring Olivia Benson and her team. However, this will mark the end of the three-week wait for the long-running drama.
