Now, he’s paying a price for that choice that could end up costing him his career. In the meantime, he’ll find other clever ways to keep himself busy — like figuring out who was behind the Metro Court shooting that left Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) paralyzed.
All of this time, everyone has assumed Curtis was hit by a ricochet bullet that was intended for either Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) or Sonny.

He knows Selina Wu (Lydia Look) has been barreling down on Curtis in hopes of getting him to give up his club and let her take over at The Savoy.

He wasn’t kidding when he told her to leave Curtis alone, but Sonny didn’t go so far as to tell her to back out of the deal to use The Savoy altogether.
This time around, he won’t mince words when he makes it clear if he can link Selina to Curtis’ injury, he’ll make sure she never walks again, too.
