Mariska Hargitay pays tribute to her mother, Jayne Mansfield, on what would have been her 90th birthday. The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star posted a throwback photo of Mansfield, who was a Hollywood sex symbol in the 1950s and 1960s, and shared a video of her in full glam on her Instagram Story. Mansfield died in a car accident when Hargitay was three years old. In an interview with Glamour, Hargitay spoke about how the trauma of her mother's death had affected her life, saying "My life has been a process of unpeeling the layers and trust and trusting again."
