The Big Bang Theory's Sheldon could have had a better life if he married Paige from Young Sheldon instead of his current wife, Amy. Paige is another child prodigy in Dr. John Sturgis' class, highly intellectual and well-adjusted, who challenges Sheldon intellectually and holds him accountable for his behavior. In contrast, Amy has been normalized over the years and lacks the conviction to straighten out Sheldon when he's being unreasonable. While Sheldon views Paige as a rival, she befriends Missy and doesn't mind competition. If Sheldon ended up with Paige, he would have matured faster, leading to a better-adjusted life.
