Pauley Perrette, who played fan-favorite Abby Sciuto on NCIS, left the show in season 15 back in 2017. In the two-part finale, Abby survived a hit planned by Robert King, which killed Clayton. She helped NCIS bring down Robert by pretending to have poisoned him with cyanide and then left the team for good after recovering from her ordeal. While Pauley's exit wasn't entirely amicable, as she reportedly quit the show over increasing tensions with lead actor Mark Harmon, CBS released a statement saying they were committed to a safe work environment on all their shows. Pauley has since moved on to a new show and shut down rumors of returning to NCIS in 2019, citing her fear of Harmon attacking her.
