Fox was victorious in key demographic ratings on Tuesday, securing some of its best ratings of the season. The network struggled last season, but it captured the final Tuesday of the November sweep in adults 18-49, 18-34, and teens. This strong showing was largely due to a first-place finish in all male demographics, as well as women 18-34.

The show "Dark Angel" drew the largest audience of the night, with 12.58 million viewers, and achieved its best 18-49 rating in six weeks. "Dark Angel" won its second half-hour in the demographic, trailing only NBC's "Frasier" at 9 p.m. In the 8 p.m. time slot, "That '70s Show" won in the 18-49 demographic with its best score since its premiere.

"Titus" matched its best 18-49 rating of the season and set a new high in teens, while also posting its best marks since March in adults 18-34 and women 18-34.

ABC won the night in total viewers, with 14 million viewers, moving ahead of NBC in total viewership for the sweep. ABC also received positive news regarding demo ratings for various series, including the best 18-49 rating of the season for "Once & Again" and the top Tuesday demo score for "Millionaire." "Once & Again" topped CBS' "Judging Amy" for the first time in the sweep, although both lost out to NBC's "Dateline."

NBC struggled with "Michael Richards" at the start of the night but had success with "Frasier" at 9 p.

m. "Richards" fell to fourth place in the 18-49 demographic and has slipped in ratings since its premiere. "Frasier," however, achieved its best rating of the sweep.

CBS had success with "JAG," which achieved its best ratings of the sweep, but "60 Minutes II" followed with its worst ratings. The WB saw gains with "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel," while UPN had success with "The Players Club."

Overall, Fox emerged as the winner on Tuesday in key demographics, while ABC won in total viewers. NBC struggled with its lineup, and CBS had mixed success with its shows. The WB and UPN also saw positive results with their programming.
