Nick at Nite will pay tribute to Matthew Perry with a special event titled Matthew Perry: Thanks for Being a Friend. The special will air on Sunday, Oct 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and will be a heartfelt homage to the late Friends star. After the tribute special, Nick at Nite will continue honoring Perry by airing fan-favorite episodes of Friends that feature him in his iconic role as Chandler Bing.
These episodes will be broadcasted throughout the following week, from Monday, Oct 30 to Sunday, Nov 5, with the airing time set at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Friends, which first premiered in 1994, is a beloved sitcom that revolves around the lives and relationships of a tight-knit group of friends in New York City.
