Mariska Hargitay, star of "Law & Order: SVU," cherishes her family life with husband Peter Hermann and their three children. She calls them her "whole, happy, joyful, chaotic, crazy unit." Mariska credits her children for making her a better parent by teaching her to really listen. She admires her husband as her biggest supporter and partner who complements her in every way. Although being a working mom is challenging, Mariska has learned to be present with what she has and relish the journey. The couple adopted two of their children, Amaya and Andrew, whom they describe as an angel that fell out of the sky.
