McG is open to returning for 'Charlie's Angels 3': 'Maybe we've got one left in us'

Director McG has expressed interest in potentially making a third Charlie's Angels movie, but is willing to "pass the torch" to another filmmaker. McG, who directed the 2000 adaptation and its 2003 sequel, says he would need to have a discussion with the original stars Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu. He praises Elizabeth Banks' recent reboot but believes there could still be another compelling story to tell. McG also reflects on his zany ideas for the franchise, which were initially met with skepticism by Sony executives.
