After the release of the first season of her latest show Based on a True Story, the star was in a recent interview, where she talked bout the show and her experience filming. During the interview, she also talked about how she was encouraged to put on some pounds for her role as she was pregnant at the time of filming, which was later incorporated into the script. She said that ever since she could remember, she was never told to gain weight for her roles, and this experience was quite liberating. She said:
"I don't roll that way. I need someone else to do that stuff, I'm past that. I'm not doing that anymore, Also, who wants to see that? Not my thing. I'd rather let someone else do it, and that's what's movie magic (is for). We don't have to do those things anymore. We can have someone else do it, and we can fake our way through. You think that Chris Messina played tennis? Please! He was terrible! That's his double."
Therefore, her pregnancy helped her realize she can let someone else do things in her stead if she's either unable or unwilling to do it herself, and intimate scenes just happen to be one of them.
