NCIS alum Pauley Perrette has spoken publicly about her recovery from a massive stroke, which occurred just over a year ago. In a video posted on Twitter, she acknowledged the many challenges she has faced, including surviving a hair dye allergy, food allergies, domestic violence and rape. She also said that she had lost many loved ones in recent years. However, Perrette remains grateful and has thanked her friends for their support. She left NCIS in 2018 after playing forensic scientist Abby Sciuto for 15 years. Prior to her acting career, she studied sociology, psychology and criminal science, eventually earning a master's degree in criminal science from Georgia State University. Fans responded to her tweet with messages of support and love.
