Young Sheldon season 6 will finally acknowledge the natural aging process of the Cooper twins, Sheldon and Missy, who are now 14 years old but still portrayed as 12-year-olds in the show. This will offer new narratives to tackle as it depicts the pair's respective experiences as teenagers. However, this is bad news for their dad, George, as it means that Young Sheldon can no longer delay his death. As established in The Big Bang Theory, George died when Sheldon was 14 years old, leaving only around two seasons left in the family comedy. Regardless of how CBS wants to approach time progression, it will be impossible to portray them as 12-year-olds just to slow down the passage of time.
